Many of us notice that after couple of times our C drive of computers where mainly Operating System installed that disk drive are full very fast without any so much of data, and we cant understood why the space of disk drive is getting full where there is not many file or folder. And after some time space of that drive are full and our computer may hang or corrupted and at the end we have to format our disk drive.

 So today I will show you how you can increase your disk drive space without loosing your data without formatting your disk drive.

Actually space of that drive are full because of restore point technology of operating system software if you clean that restore point then your drive space are also free.

Now question is what is restore point of windows and what is the need of this restore point technology in operating system,

Actually System Restore is a feature in Microsoft Windows that allows the user to revert their computer's state (including system files, installed applications, Windows Registry, and system settings) to that of a previous point in time, which can be used to recover from system malfunctions or other problems. First included in Windows ME, it has been included in all following desktop versions of Windows released since, excluding the Windows Server. In Windows 10, System Restore is turned off by default and must be enabled by users in order to function. This does not affect personal files such as documents, music, pictures, and videos.

Now how to free up this space which occupy by system restore point and this is safe to do on your pc and laptop your data are also safe.

I) First right click on my computer on desktop or from start menu

II) Go to properties and on the left side corner you will find system protection option tap that option.

III) Now click on configure, here you can find various option from here you can turn off this features also.

IV) Now for free up your disk drive space click on delete option and confirm it.

After doing that you can open your my computer and see your C drive space is increase.
